  • Who is EKSTASIS Movement Studio for?
    Anyone over the age of 18 can train at EKSTASIS, regardless of fitness level. We welcome people of all ages, body shapes, and abilities.
  • I'm not in shape, is this for me?
    You don't have to be fit to train here, but you WILL get in shape as a result of training here! EKSATASIS welcomes beginners and professionals alike. Our Inclusive approach and multi tiered progression of movements ensures that everyone, whether it's your first time moving or you're a seasoned athlete, can participate in the same small group training session and enjoy a rewarding and invigorating workout.
  • I have/had an injury/medical issue, can I still train at EKSTASIS?
    The training we do at EKSTASIS is perfectly safe for the vast majority of people, and our instructors are trained to scale or substitute exercises and tailor workouts based on your specific issues, imbalances and abilities. However, if you have any ailment or injury that may affect your ability to train, we recommend that you check with your doctor or Physical Therapist before your first visit - in certain rare circumstances we may require a note from your doctor or PT certifying that it’s OK for you to train with us.
  • Can I tain here if Im pregnant?
    Become a stronger mama here! We have had many women train with us both during and after pregnancy, subject to the all-clear from their medical practitioner. Please check with your doctor before starting training at EKSTASIS if you are pregnant or have recently given birth.
  • I'm over 50! Is this the place to train for me?
    Our workouts are designed to be scaled to each person’s ability, so people of all ages can enjoy the benefits of training at EKSTASIS. Studies have shown resistance training & HIIT to be beneficial to people as old as 80, and we have clients who have trained regularly with us into their 70s. However, if you’re over 50 and have any concerns about your ability to train, we’d highly recommend checking with your doctor first.
